Abstract

RESTREPO, Carlos Enrique. THE BODY OF SPIRIT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE CONCEPTION OF BODY IN HEGEL. discus.filos [online]. 2008, vol.9, n.13, pp.25-43. ISSN 0124-6127.

This paper reconstructs the hegelian thinking about the body, exposed in many of his works, mainly in Encyclopedia, Lectures on aesthetics, and Phenomenology of spirit. Here, body is considered in his double and fundamental meaning: according to philosophy of nature and philosophy of spirit. His gradual development conduce to the human body as a form of complete spiritual subjectivity where acquires its entire reality.

Keywords : Body; spirit; soul; nature; animal; life.
