We present the techniques currently existing for biodiversity studies and conservation of butterflies, explain how you should collect and preserve, which kind of traps can be used, sampling methodologies, what you can see, what technique is used to study of genital organs and wing venation, likewise as the procedure for extending their wings, in what types of furniture and boxes should be stored in a collection of butterflies biological, labels redquired once included in a collection, and the color of the labels that identify the types and the method and how to take pictures properly preserved specimens.
