Abstract

This abstract is the result of several researches dedicated to the analysis and definition of five strategies, which have enabled the conservation of archaeological remains of earth-made architecture located through Latin America. Based on the study of the structures relation with their cultural and natural environment, a series of notions are generated in the quest for a definition of theoretical principles that may be applied to the preservation of the unique characteristics of earthen built heritage.
