The author offers a hermemeutic epistemological model in order to explain the complex interactions among different cultural health systems. It is based on a review of philosophical and social science theories about the nature of symbols and their communication relation in health actions of conflictive type. The author also proposes a critical reading of instrumentalization, cultural relativism and aesthetization of cultural health systems: traditional professional and alternative, using a logical analysis model that includes and relates critical forms derived from science, ethics and aesthetics.
