This reflection constitutes an inquiry, carried out by four hands and two hearts, into the practice of academic writing: its logics, contradictions, presuppositions, and the possibilities for the emergence of an auroral form of thought, that is, to enable a thought of dawn to bloom in the midst of a pandemic and widespread devastation, which also includes scientific devastation. At the same time, this article is also a reflection on four issues related to the process of writing papers.
