Abstract
AVILA GARCIA, Víctor Alfonso. Virtual Education in a Time of Pandemic. The Neoliberal Crisis of Care. Trab. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.1, pp.273-293. Epub Oct 30, 2021. ISSN 2256-5493. https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v23n1.87729.
This article places the coviD-19 pandemic in the contradiction between contemporary capitalism and the tasks of care to analyze the impacts caused by the health emergency on the professional performance of three teachers who, exercising their work in schools in Bogota with different socioeconomic characteristics, have had different possibilities to guarantee the education of their students through the use of virtual resources. We conclude, through the dialogue between the theoretical perspectives on neoliberalism and the reflexivity of the teachers interviewed, that the pandemic demonstrated a social order that differentially protects people's lives.
