Abstract

YANEZ REYES, Diana Laura  and  GALICIA HERNANDEZ, Esther. Society/Community and Nature. A Proposal of Analysis from the Sociohydric Memory of the Communal and Ejidatarios of the Amatzinac River in Tetela del Volcán, México. Trab. soc. [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.2, pp.113-141.  Epub Feb 23, 2023. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v24n2.98989.

The ways of life, coexistence, and interactions that were developed at the beginning of the ejidal and communal organization of the peasants of the upper part of the Amatzinac River reflected the matrix links between communities and nature, essential links derived from human nature itself. In this temporal and spatial context, an intimate relationship between ejidatarios and comuneros was established with the eco-environments and river water, forms of appropriation and representation that defined their territoriality and wove objective and subjective ties over time that left deep traces in memory. with Iindividual and collective, imprints that currently seem to be fading.

Keywords : Community; society-nature; sociohydric memory; space and time; territoriality.
