EDITORIAL

Return rate of scientific publication is the visibility that published knowledge generates in communities of such intensive users (scholars, science managers, policy decision makers), as in non intensive consumers of knowledge (mass media and persons in general).

It is clear that consumers are determining in knowledge chain of value generated by research; they influence thematics, specially in social and health sciences. For example, social agendas are research subjects and have multiple actors whom stress to scholars, groups, institutions and financial organizations.

It is for this reason that communication processes of research are very important in strategic development of units responsible for promotion, development and management of research. Here, editor' role, besides to manage the knowledge (to assess minimum quality, to send to arbitration, to assure times, to control quality processes, to improve cognitive devices and inclusively to have pedagogical work with people who are knowledge producers) is associated to know and promote publication in national and international information systems of scientific knowledge; these are, catalogues, data bases and indexing systems.

To include our journals in these systems is criticize because some of them are external evaluatores of all editorial work and because they multiply the visibility of knowledge. In this sense, whenever we join in a international data base is an excellent step in processes to add value to tje knowledge published in DIVERSITAS. In this occasion we are celebrating our entrance to the Journals Network of Latin America, Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (REDALYC) of Universidad Atónoma de Mexico; our journal was assessed fulfilling more than 90% of criteria which indicates us that the way designed in these two years of work are adjusting to international criteria demanded by such international scientific information systems (we remember that also we joint PSICODOC data base, of the Council of Spanish Professional Associations of Psychologists) and is clear that we are ready to join in the Colombian Scientific Journals System PUBLINDEX and that we must continue our joining process to other international systems, which supposes new efforts to improve our DIVERSITAS Journal: Perspectives in Psychology, specially in its virtual developments.
