To be the official means of expression of the Colombian Association of Surgery through the publication of original papers on topics pertaining to general surgery and similar areas of interest for all the medical profession, including humanistic, social and economic subjects and others related to medical education, in order to promote the development of research and foster scientific activities at a national level.
